The very first thing which comes to my mind is Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park.... its been around 8 yrs that the album has been released.....but new generations are still finding relevance !!..... I guess you would know what im talking about if u've been listening to that song for more than 7 1/2 yrs now !..... lolzzz
My life in the last 6 months has been nothing but finding 'relevance' and 'connecting'. Guess that's something which i shud've started atleast when I was five. :(..... Poor me had very less worldly knowledge then...... was attracted to tri-bicycles and jeeps at that time.
Relevance - Where do we go now !!...... If you are at this point, finding relevance would take you to the end of the tunnel. I still stick to one of my core principles in life - "Nightmares don't last long, One day you wake up and they're gone !!" - is all about finding relevance. I guess relevance and 'connecting' are in relevance with each other. If finding relevance does not lead to being connected then you are really not 'connected' to what you think you are focussed in terms of being relevant. While the latter might lead to distractions, the former can even cause extreme mental fatigue leading to uncontrollable train of thoughts unless and until you are 'connecting' things. Staying connected is like a runway where relevance is like each light on the runway.
I look at people around me and find them with all sorts of outlook and attitudes in life.... some have an 'attitude' and some have a 'great attitude'. There is a hairline difference between the two, yet it makes the latter worlds-apart from what the former is.
Relevance is a state of mind while being able to 'connect' is a way of life. Beat that !..... you will only end-up more relevant and connected wrt yourself.
Finding Relevance does teach you a million things: focus, thinking big, brings you to a winning-habit mode, teaches you to be ruthless, makes you successful. Its like getting to the top. Staying 'connected' keeps you there.
I know what I am going to write about next when i get time to: Finding and tracing behavior & event patterns. This will surely equip you with great PR skills. Guess that is way to connect things, while 'doing-the-pattern' thing is all about making relevance.
